Where does the time go? It is already after Christmas and I am still reorganizing and updating my website.

Well I did take some time for Christmas and for Christmas shopping! I got the new Sims 2 game for Christmas. It is somewhat addictive! I played for two days straight! Great game.

I also took some time in December to start reorganizing my life. I am tired of being unorganized! I have decorated my room.

I have started reorganizing my genealogy and this time I am doing it right! I have started by inputting all the information I know from being in my family. Then, I have started going back through all the papers I have and I am inputting the information from each of those documents with source information in my genealogy program! I have found new information that I didn’t have in my old genealogy file in just the documents that I have already went through! I knew a lot more about my family than I thought I did. I am also not adding in information from gedcoms I received previously. Instead, I am going back through those files and finding the source information and adding the information from those sources. It may take a long time, but then I will have information that I actually believe in instead of just a bunch of names, dates, and relationships that I don’t even know if they are true or not!! I am starting to add my genealogy information to the website.

The genealogy discussion mailing list is for everyone who visits my site to share information about the family lines related to those I am researching. I will be posting messages to this list including scans of documents and the related information I find in them to this list. I will also post messages when I update the genealogy section of my website.

The website mailing list is an announcement list of when I update my website. I will post periodic messages to this list when I update any sections of my website.
