With the beginning of the new year it is a good time to think about securing our data and backing up to offsite locations.  The blogs at geneablogs as well as most online sites are full of horror stories of people loosing all their data to a harddrive crash!  I have recently started using a dropbox account to keep a backup of my data as well as my external harddrive backups.  I love the dropbox because it also allows me to access many of my files through my android phone as well as at any computer!
