Margie E. Reid Former Resident, Died April 27
Margie E. Reid, age 83, of Moro, formerly of Marshall, died at Stuttgart April 27. She was born February 14, 1893.
Survivors include two sons, Asburn Treat of Moro and Sherm Treat of Springdale and 24 grandchildren.
Services were conducted April 29 at Round Mountain Church. Burial was in Treat Cemetery under direction of Coffman Funeral Home, Inc., Marshall.

She is still something of a mystery to me.  I have tried to find information on her family but it is somewhat scarce.  I did get the names of her parents from the funeral home that conducted her funeral services but I still don’t have proof of the relationships through any other form.  I also can’t find information on her second husband “Doc” Reid.  The “Doc” is obviously a nickname but I can’t find his real name and I can’t find the information on their marriage.  I keep trying! and trying!
