I am on vacation this week!  I have spent the past three days visiting the Madison County Genealogical Society Library and have found MUCH information on my ancestors!  I will be adding these discoveries to my genealogy database over the next few weeks (Maybe Months!) and will post updates as I get stuff added but I wanted to post a couple of my favorite photo finds tonight!

Major Keck and Almeda Jane Reeves KeckThe first is the photo of my 3rd Great-Grandparents!  James Frederick “Major” Keck and Almeda Jane Reeves Keck!  I hadn’t previously seen a photo of them but now I have one!  (I haven’t yet went back through my unidentified photos to see if I have more but I will be doing that in the next few days!).

Frederick Keck HomeThe second is a photo of the home in which my 4th Great-Grandparents, Frederick and Milly Driver Keck raised their ten children.  They raised 10 Children in this tiny house!  I can’t imagine it but that is what it says on the identifying information with the photo.

By the way, I want to say how friendly and helpful the people at the library were to me during each of the three days I was there!  There is no way I could have found out as much as I did without their help.  Also, I met a cousin and learned about the Gabbard Family Reunion at the end of June!  She gave me some of her personal information on the Gabbards and told me all about the reunion!
