Charlie Morgan Carpenter was the husband of my half Great-Great Aunt, Golda Reynolds Carpenter. She was the half-sister of my Great-Grandmother Elsie Louise Reynolds Stout.

Charlie Carpenter
Charlie Morgan Carpenter, 86, of Huntsville died Dec. 2, 1994, at Springdale Memorial Hospital. He was born June 13, 1908, at Red Star, to Willard A. and Annie Belle McFee Carpenter. He was a Freewill Baptist and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Golda Reynolds Carpenter of the home; two sons, Larry Willard Carpenter of Huntsville and Charles Claude Carpenter of Lincoln; three daughters, Verna Bennett of Wesley, Vernice Tisdale of Goshen and Shirley Ledbetter of Huntsville; two sisters, Bertha Lyman of Huntsville and Ruby Whorton of Springdale; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchilren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Paul Payne officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles Carpenter, Jimmy Bennett, Jerry Bennett, Wayne Ledbetter, Jerry Ledbetter and Brent Tisdale. Honorary pallbearers will be T.B. Lyman, Joe Lyman, Ricky Whorton, Perry Billingsley, Terry Bennett, Roger Bennett, Randy Bennett and Gary Cheatham.
