Today, I am doing some research on my Reynolds Line.
I looked again for my Great-Grandmother Elsie Reynolds Stout’s 1910 Census Record but I still can’t find it. Her mother Almeda Jane Keck died in 1908. Her father Thomas Franklin Reynolds is shown in the 1910 census as living with his mother. He is listed as married but his children, Elsie, Elva Sara, and Melvin aren’t shown in the household. They are also not shown as living with Almeda’s parents, James Frederick and Almeda Jane Reeves Keck. I searched the Ancestry census record.
Since, I can’t find the record for Elsie, I am trying her siblings: Melvin and Elva Sarah. I spent some time this evening filling in the missing pieces for both Melvin and Elva’s families.

I still didn’t find any of them in the 1910 Census. I suppose it is possible that the census taker just missed them in the 1910 census but I will keep checking with other relatives to see if they were living with other family members during the period between the death of their mother and the remarriage of Tom Reynolds to Viola Burgess Reynolds.
