I think that this photo is of Grandpa Stout in the center of the photo on the left. I don’t know who the other men are but I would think it likely that they are employees in the canning company.
The family story is that Grandpa Stout owned the canning company during the war and that new regulations after the war requiring upgrades to the factory put him out of business.
I have now seen a document that shows that Grandpa rented a warehouse during the period at the end of World War II.
