Well I was able to actually have my knee surgery this past Friday! I remember going into the operating room, an oxygen mask being put on my face, and the anesthesiologist saying she was going to give me some medicine – Then I wake up in the recovery room! That is the way it should go! I have physical therapy… Read more »
Well I went for my pre-op today and so far, my knee surgery is on for next Friday! Hopefully, everything will go as scheduled and it will be done then!
Since I didn’t have surgery on Friday, I made some updates to the website this weekend! A lot of updates and some great new stuff added. I am at 700 images attached to my genealogy software!!! That is 700 census, draft cards, photos, letters and other documents that have had any relevant data added and then the images have been attached to appropriate events! I am excited about this milestone for my genealogy.

Today would have been Grandma Treat’s birthday. She would have been 91 years old today. Sometimes it seems like only yesterday that she died but other times it seems like forever. Today, it hit me that she died 20 years ago! She was a good woman who loved God and her family. What better thing can be said about anyone?
Today, I spent a little time entering some family sources into my genealogy! I got my birth certificate and my hospital birth certificate added to my genealogy software. I also added my great-grandparents tombstones and the funeral cards. I added in the census for my great-grandmother Elsie Louise Reynolds Stout for 1920 when she was living with her grandmother Sarah… Read more »
